Sellers remorse?  Have you ever sold something and then wanted it back before it ever left your hands?  Or in some cases, after you sold something, you actually paid more for it just to get it back!?!  Sounds crazy, but I've seen it happen.  In my opinion, the best way to deal with sellers remorse is to just remember one simple thing.  That is, you can sell any prized possession, but you don't have to sell the memory.  The memories of a bike that you rode to a championship and the memories that you gather along the way, never go with the sale.  They can and will live well past that fateful day, if you chose to keep them.  And if you have taken care of your bike like you should have, then chances are, it's providing another rider with even more glory and so the circle continues.

SCAM ALERT!!

 Once again another fellow ad poster has gotten an email from an Internet Scam "Artist".  The m.o. is the usual deal where they want to send you hundreds or even thousands of dollars more than what you are asking.  And then you are suppose to in turn send them the item and the "extra" back.

It's only later that you find out that the check or money order is fake....

Clearly, if this was a real deal then the buyer would only pay for the item plus shipping and they would be ok with waiting for the check to clear.

If they offer to pay more or "need to" over-pay, then that is a sign that you are being scammed.

1977 Can Am 175 Qualifier


 

Very original, under 1000 miles, and with STREET TITLE Paperwork.  I bought this bike with the intention of doing vintage enduros but my interests have changed.  I have ridden it around my yard a few times in the last year and that is it.  It has the original working oil injection system and is a very nice bike. Known issues are a slow leak in the front tire, one missing exhaust spring, and a minor tear in the seat.  It starts and runs well.  $1600.00, may consider either a niceTLR200 (must be titled) or a TL125 plus cash. 1982 Qualifier 125 Serial Number 851300006.




I acquired this bike from the original owners son. He replaced the clutch last year, then injured his back and never got to ride it. I cleaned out the carb, put in some fresh gas, and it fired in a few kicks. Everything works as it should, including the lights. Has a small aluminum silencer, and an aluminum swingarm. Also includes the original silencer and steel swingarm. Overall, the plastic is in decent shape, but missing the white backgrounds on the number plate and the tank decals. The number plate is cracked above the headlight, but has been repaired. The seat has several cracks, but is useable. All this stuff is available from www.rtrmoto.com . All the hand controls are original Magura. The original Sun rims have no damage. It has a fresh K&N filter. The tires are decent. The original shocks still have some damping. Front forks show no signs of leakage. Comes with a spare set of wheels with rubber on them and a complete spare front brake plate and front axle. Looks like an easy cosmetic resto, or ride it as is, and tear up the 125 class.

1980 Can Am MX-6 400:


Bike is complete, but un-restored. I purchased it as an extra parts bike but I never needed to take anything off of it for the restored MX-6. The engine is complete with its stator and flywheel - CDI box is also attached.  It would definitely need some cosmetic work to restore, but these parts are still readily available. It would make a great post-vintage racer as the 400 is a very fast bike.

I am asking $600.00

For $75.00, I will crate the bike and deliver it to any local motor freight, and the bike is located in San Antonio, TX.

I was cleaning up my yard this year and came across this exhaust system it is Can-Am
 it has the numbers on it the silencer is 745-003-004 and the pipe is 745-002-913 it is in very good condition.



 I ran it through my bead blaster to see if it had any cracks  it does not have any dents or cracks.
I have been told it is from an early maybe the first year 125 enduro
