WHO WE ARE

We are a small group of Christians tracing our history to the Protestant Reformation and committed to the propagation and maintenance of the historic Reformed Faith. We prayerfully decided to constitute ourselves as a member congregation of a federation known as the UNITED REFORMED CHURCHES in North America.

We believe the Bible to be the infallible, inerrant and unchanging Word of God and we hold the Scriptures to be the only rule for our faith and practice. In our attempt to remain faithful to that Word, we declare our commitment to what is called the “Three Forms of Unity,” namely the Heidelberg Catechism (1563), the Belgic Confession (1561), and the Canons of Dort (1619).

The Heidelberg Catechism provides a warm and most excellent biblical response for those who, by God’s grace, seek comfort both in life and in death. We regard the Belgic Confession as a beautiful and accurate expression of what it means to be Christian, and finally, we have in the Canons of Dort a true understanding of what the Bible teaches concerning God’s relationship to man, and God’s marvelous and gracious plan of salvation.
