Take
a deep breath ............ and relax! Yes the poles are moving, they've been doing it for quite a while now. Scientist say the poles change roughly every 300,000 years and I'm sure I read its been about 700,000 since the last one? If it is that time, DON'T PANIC! The poles can take at least 1000 years to change and settle. That's a very, very, very long time to be in a constant state of panic and probably not very good for your health! I'm not going to spout about God's will or "what have we done to deserve this" or "its our fault, we did this" personally, all those seem rather vain in a "its all about me me me" kinda way and thankfully we're not that small minded anymore. Its a perfectly natural occurrence in Earth's life cycle. Yes, its inconvenient, and it might mess all sorts of things up, but perhaps we just need to wise up a bit, learn to adapt and get used to interesting/wonderful/scary/ changes on a regular basis from now onwards. If that means we start thinking about the Earth a bit more, surely thats not a bad thing? Most importantly, sit back and RELAX. We're stuck here, so we may as enjoy what we can and grow wiser with everything else |
