Oh, I had a cat,

Who name was Spooky.

One day she came back home,

With only half a tail !

And I looked at her and said:

"I know what I got to do ! I just got to get rid of you !"

'Cause you are:

Nothin' but a black cat !

With only half a tail at that !

You eat like a pig and you don't even dig your litter !

But I have always found, when there is no one else around,

You sittin' in my lap, telling me that:

"I love you !"

Oh, than darn dog !

He did not do things right !

For the other half of Spooky,

Still wags, in the night !

And every now and then,

When I am gonna fix things right.

Spooky's one step ahead of me,

With her wags in the night !

And I got kitties everywhere !

Oh, she is:

Nothin' but a black cat !

With only half a tail at that !

She eats like a pig and she don't even dig her litter !

But I have always found, when there is no one else around,

She is sittin' in my lap, telling me that:

"I love you !"

Spooky, Spooky, Spooky, Spooky !

What am I to do with you !

You make me think that all I am is:

Someone to pour the bag of food for you !

And when I am walkin' down the street,

You are always gettin' tangled in my feet !

Oh, I know what I got to do ! I just got to get rid of you !
