Check out the K.I.S.S. 'Cross Home Page

K.I.S.S. 'Cross is a West Michigan cyclocross series that was organized primarily by Rick Plite (Thanks Rick!). We found that there is definitely a market for cyclocross events in West Michigan, as we had an average of 40-50 racers at each event.

Single speeding my way through a tight section of the course. My riding was only limited to about 1.5 laps... (11/17/2002)

Here was my reward for my crash.
X-Rays determined that nothing was broken...just bruised & pulled muscles. (11/17/2002)

Before I made my way to the E.R., though, I got some shots of the "A" race. Here's the first set of barriers. (11/17/2002)

The Velo City Cycles guys were there to offer technical support. Ironically, neither Chip nor Dan work for Velo City...they're just chattin' and admiring the bikes. (11/17/2002)

Here's a shot of the Slingshot tent. The guys from Slingshot were a big K.I.S.S. 'Cross sponsor, and were preparing to give away a sweet 'cross frame/fork. (12/08/2002)

Slingshot's 'cross bike and single speed "Singleshot" MTB on display. (12/08/2002)
