Direct Dial Calls
Direct Dial calls are those made without operator assistance.
They are the most economical and easiest to make. Simply dial
the number and you will be charged the appropriate rate.
Dial: 1 + area code + 7 digit number
Blocking Long Distance Calls
You have the option
of blocking all outgoing long distance calls. There is an installation
charge of $5.00. A monthly charge may apply. Call our business
office for more details.
Operator Assisted Calls
Dial: 0 + area code
+ 7 digit number
After you have dialed
the number, you will hear a tone signal and an operator will answer
and request the details necessary to complete your call. Give
the operator your special instructions:
- Person-to-person - give the name you are calling
- Collect calls - give your name
- Calling card calls - give your calling card number or enter
number as described below.

Pre-paid and Post-paid
Calling cards are available from Allendale Communications.
Automated Calling Cards
You can charge the
call without the aid of an operator. After dialing you will hear
a tone which means for you to enter your calling card number (touch
tone phones only).
If you want to make
more than one call after entering your card number, don't hang
up, simply depress the # symbol and enter the next telephone number
to call. You do not have to re-enter your card number.

calls within your area code cost $.92 cents each after three (3)
free calls per month.
Directory assistance
calls to other area codes cost $.95 cents. Canada is $1.00 and
Mexico and International is $4.95.
