- Get into Outlook Express.
- Click on Tools (from the menu).
- Click on Accounts (from the drop-down menu).
- Click on the Mail stub.
- Select your mail account (for altelco.net) and click on Properties.
- In the username field your username should
be entered (It does not include @altelco.net).
- Your e-mail address should be listed as your username@altelco.net.
- Choose the Servers stub.
- Both your Incoming and Outgoing mail should be listed
as mail.altelco.net.
- Under the Incoming mail server section your account name should
read as just your username (It does not include @altelco.net).
Note: Your account will be starred out for security purposes.
If you are receiving a message that your password is incorrect,
make sure your Incoming mail server account name is correct
and try retyping your password.
- Remember my password should be checked.
- Click on Advanced stub.
- Make sure Leave a copy of messages on server is Blank.
- Click on OK when you are finished to save your changes.
