Creating a Dialer in Windows 95/98

1. Double click on My Computer.
2. Double click on Dial-Up Networking.
3. Double click on Make New Connection.
4. Name for computer: allendale
   Click on Next.
5. Area Code: 616
   Phone Number: 895-9901 (Call our office for another dial-up number if 895-9901 is not local for you, or look at the documentation that was sent to you when you signed up for service.)
   Click on Next.
6. Click on Finish.
7. You should be back to the dial-up networking window. The connection you just created should be visible. Single click on allendale (this should highlight it).
8. Click on File.
9. Click on Properties.
10. Remove the check mark on use country code and area code by clicking in the box.
11. Click on OK.
12. Right click on Allendale. A drop-down menu will appear. Left click on Create Shortcut. Answer Yes to placing shortcut on desktop.
