Unable to send or receive email. Getting an error and email settings are correct.
To Turn off Email Scanning in NORTON
Locate your Norton icon (usually lower right hand corner by the time).
Right click on your Norton incon.
Left click on Options.
Left click on Norton Antivirus.
On left pane, click on Email
In right pane, uncheck boxes next to Scan Incoming Email and Scan Outgoing Email.
Click OK
If it askes for a duration, click on Permanently.
Exit Norton
Reboot your computer.
To Turn off Email Scanning in MC AFEE
Locate your McAfee icon (usually lower right hand corner by the time).
Right click on McAfee
Left click on VirusScan
Click on Configure Virus Scan
Uncheck the box by Scan Email and Attachments
Click on OK
To Turn off Email Scanning in SYMANTEC
Click on Start
Click on Programs
Click on Symantec Client Security
Click on Symantec Antivirus
Click on Internet E-mail Auto-Protect
Uncheck Enable Internet E-mail Auto-Protect
Click on OK
Click on Exit
