1. Click on Start
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Network & Dial-up Connections
4. Double click on Make New Connection
5. Click on Next
6. Select Dial-up to the Internet, click on Next
7. Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually, click on Next
8. Select I connect through a phone line and a modem, click on Next
9. Type in 895-9901 (Call our office for another dial-up number if 895-9901 is not local for you, or look at the documentation that was sent to you when you signed up for service) in phone number box, uncheck use area code & dialing rules. Click on Next
10. Type in your username in the username box. The username is all lowercase and does not include @altelco.net. Then type in your password in the password box. Click on Next
11. Type in altelco for Connection Name, click on Next.
12. If you want to setup your email at this time, select Yes to setting up Internet Mail, click on Next. Otherwise, click on No, then Next, then Finish. If you choose Yes to Internet Mail, continue following the directions, otherwise you are done.
13. Select Create a new Internet Mail Account, click on Next
14. Type your full name in the Display Name box
15. Type your email address (username@altelco.net) in the email address box
16. Incoming Server is POP3
    Incoming Mail Server: mail.altelco.net
    Outgoing Mail server: mail.altelco.net
    Click on Next
17. Account Name: username (does not include @altelco.net, all lowercase)
    Password:
    Check Remember Password
    Leave Log on using Secure Password blank.
    Click on Next
18. Click on Finish
