How do I avoid getting viruses through the Internet?
About 98% of the viruses received through the Internet come in the form of attachments on email messages. If your email address ends with @altelco.net, then your email is scanned for viruses as it comes to our server. If your email message has a virus attached to it, then you will receive a message from our server that somebody tried to send you a message with a virus. You will not receive the message with the virus on it. However, it is always possible that a virus could get around our server's antivirus software.
